I can't wait to see what people come up with! Torchlight was a great game, but to me it always felt unfinished like it was missing the finale bit of polish or the finale bit of testing. Speaking of mods this game has a huge mod scene much like the first one which in my opinion keep the game alive longer, and I can expect that with the second. That is fixed with a mod, but it would have been nice to have free range with that in game. I can enjoy games like this more when I can get the most out of my character without having to start a new one, If I get bored of one spec I and try a different one, or try all 3 and see which one I like the most. One big con for me is that you can't respec more than you 3 recent abilities. And just being able to customize your characters stats and abilities is a big plus not just giving you a set of "use this, or this but that's it" like D3 had. The gameplay is much more fast paced it feels quick like you are a badass just mowing through enemies It feels more like and action rpg then D3 did. Killing enemies is very satisfying, hitting something with a giant two handed hammer and watching them blow up into bits of blood and flesh, is kind of awesome. Every time you play this game something is always different and new. New maps, new enemies, new weapons and armor. I have played all of the classes in TL2 so that's 4 times and I still find something new I hadn't the first time. I got sick of Diablo 3 after nightmare mode, just playing the same damn game for the 3rd time in a row tired me out.
